be carefully single line as its not rated for that, M- rig mmm i reckon that would put in a nasty angle when weighted? thats good tho man, its always good to mess around with ideas and show them, as many brains are better than one and one idea leads to the next.

Keep it up guys:)

HitchClimber all the way;p

I change to a grigri when working down a stem with my climbing line choked on the stem. I tried the SJ once on srt for that very purpose but its no good and tends to be very difficult to break when your weight is on it, maybe with the RW it will be ok? I get the feeling it will be difficult to get close to the stem and will be always at too much of a distance. With the grigri i can get right in to where my rope is choked without any bother. I know its primarily just for descent if needed but it can help a lot if the stem is at an angle and it stops you barn dooring round the stem.

The RW does work with the SJ, actually i think the Lock Jack is better because of the top ring and also because its mountable mid line. Not going to get one though not when I have a SJ in my bag!:001_rolleyes:

Can you explain what the RW does for the the system. What advantages and disadvantages?

I'm intrigued. :001_smile:

Going to be a long time (if ever) going back to a Hitchclimber,Just wondering What little tricks people use with there Spiderjack?

Here a couple from me.

Pic 1 Add a small sling to go up(pull tail of rope)

Pic 2 Clip big saw into(adds no weight to you)

Pic 3 Get groundy to pull bug saw upto you

Pic 4 M rig?

Pic 5 Coming down single line when RG to small?

Pictures 4 worries me a bit due to the angle the SJ is subjected to. Great idea though and defo something to improve upon. Good work atree :thumbup1:
