Essential Arb used to have loads of articles written by clueless journos and hideous clearly posed photos, mixed in with some really good stuff.

Should subscribe again really. It was always good having a few copies in the truck on rainy days.

I am going to drop them an email just to make them aware of the mistake so hopefully it won't happen again.

It may seem petty to someone outside of the firewood game but when you spend so much time explaining to customers the difference between volume and weight, and how you don't get a tonne of wood in a tonne bag, and my tipper dimensions are 2.7x2.0x0.3= 1.62m3, etc, etc, etc..... It really has wound me up!!

Sorry - missed this completely. Did you send an email in? I wasn't working on Forestry Journal for this issue but I'm sure if you emailed, the ed will have responded to you by now.

With regard to the awful photo in essentialARB also mentioned in this thread I can only apologise. I had seen it, and discarded it, but it got included in error in the images I sent forward for design. I didn't realise what had happened till I saw it print... it won't happen again. (though the equally worrying thing is that the photo was real life!?!)
