None of us are charging nearly enough. We charge less than a plumber or electrician yet turn up with 40-50K worth of gear and have high daily operating costs.

Truck, chipper and 3 men at £1000 a day should be the minimum IMO. I pray for this day to arrive.

Dayv rate or job price.............never do houly rate, at a push i will do half day rate if i can fill the other half of the day, if not its a day !!

We do get asked for hourly rate as part of a wider contract but lets face it usually thats just an office thing.

We always get asked to quote for extra works within the contract- the hourly rate is forgotten or brushed aside
