Is There a B.S standard for stump grinding ??

Dave- what you havent mentioned here is what your customer was told by said contractor.....when he was saying about it today he said that the contractor had told him it would be about 11" below soil.......herein lies the issue IMO. If he has stated a depth he must grind to that depth.

This is verry true tommer , i had not mentioned it as i thought that in the early stages it may throw a bias towards the subject.

 

It was interesting listening to said contractor try to tell the client that hey must be kidding and that he could only do what the machine would allow !!! WTF i thought that the machine could only do what the opperator would allow :confused1:

That was flippin unreal hearing that!!!!!:thumbdown: What the contractor doesnt seem to grasp is that your client is no moron....He could see straight away that an attempt to pull the wool over his eyes was being made; he didnt need any input from yourself/ us.

I have to say I am somewhat flabbergasted that this particular contractor, who advertises as a stump grinding company after all, could leave that job the way he did.:001_huh:

I do think that your idead to get a grinder was a great idea tom :sneaky2: infact i would go as fas as to say that i will give out your number to anyone wishing to have stumps ground out :sneaky2:great thinking:laugh1:
