I have seen that the ISC blocks are to come with a top wheel that will accept 27mm topping strops. this wheel will be available across the range. what's the point? why have a pulley that can have a 27mm strop and only a 13mm or 16mm working line? Can somebody please explain.

The sling that secures the top block will be subject to twice the static load on your line. That load will be much greater as soon as your dropping tops.

If your asking that question you really need to get some training before you use the pulley.

You dont need a 27mm sling to attach a pulley running a 16mm working line.

If your posting that answer you clearly didnt read the question. :001_tt2:

there all right, peter said you don't necessarily have to use 27mm sling but its what it will take up to, using a 19mm sling is more than enough for 16mm line, then your making sure that your rope is the weakest part of your system.

i did detect some sarcasm in your post peter but gibbon does have a point.....

not that i'm saying Ardon doesn't know what he's doing it just seems a bit of an collage boy question?

saying that though if you don't know just ask......:001_rolleyes::biggrin:
