Was looking around and saw this thread. We've just bought this Valmet and good to know you guys know all about its history. Bought it as a time (and back) saver! Endless uses in our forestry business and it'll be out every day at this rate. Great forum:thumbup1:

 

Hope u didn't pay what he was asking!! It was mine before he bought it. Ha,ha. Good tractor.

nice 1 for getting the valmet, if you havent owned a roofmount before you will of only imagined 50% of what you will use it for, i think of mine as a giant robot labourer:thumbup:

No didnt pay asking price for it but around what he bought it for :blushing: but should help out alot and as said only worth what you can make from it. Had a James Jones County with a crane on before and always regretted selling that so thats what spurred me on to take the plunge. Already been asked to help out some local tree surgeons and other forestry teams. The backs feeling it now so more mechanical assistance the better (except for when it breaks!)
