has anyone sprayed roundup in winter

as the title says. Has anyone had experience of spraying grasses with glyphosate in winter. Yes, I know there are other alternatives such as kerb, but does glyphosate work in winter. Iv'e used hundereds of gallons in summer and it's never not worked.

 

Its a lot slower to work in winter, but it does work ok.

Yes it does work, was once desperate to spray a field and ended up doin it on a damp foggy winters day an it did the job fine! To help roundup be more efficient try to roll or bruise it before spraying it helps a lot!

Dave, Round-up will work much better under warmer conditions when active growth is taking place. With a year round growing season here it takes longer when it get's colder. Might I suggest adding a ts. of dish washing liquid per gal. of H20. This is a poor mans spreader sticker and the folks selling Round-up really don't want you to know, so I did not tell you.
