Not good, spoke to a few mates who seen it and another lives at the side of the motorway where it happened. Said they saw some awful things.

I know i shouldn't speculate, but its happened next to the rugby club who were having a firework display, distraction perhaps? Thoughts with all those involved

Blimey. Not good. In mid devon today, not far from zummerzet of course was the most torrential rain I have seen for years; my wee car was on hyper-wiper and I could only go 10mph in a 60 zone. The road had what must have been 4 inches of floodwater which appeared within 5 minutes. It was bonkers.

I've just spoken to my cousins who drive through there at about 7.30 and they said it was thick fog. Visibility was to almost just infront of the bonnet. And it was raining at the same time.

Just spoke to a mate who came past on the southbound side as it happened and said there was really thick fog!
