I like the way this thread seamlessly moved from "nice food" to "nice beer" and stayed there. Great stuff.

 

These cooking pots look like some thing you might add "bat wing" or "Eye of newt " to. Very appropriate for Halloween.

Tho Iam partial to a drop of broadside, tis a tad strong for light drinking, so I opted for some St Peters ale http://www.stpetershallsuffolk.co.uk/aboutus/brewery.php try some if you get the chance, you'll not be disappointed!!

Just had me first couple tonight.

 

That's the best bottled Ale I've tasted in yonks.

Closing my eyes, I could be supping in a quaint village pub, fresh from a well looked after pump.

 

 

Bought a crate of the Organic. Cool bottles.

My potjie is about 25 years old, I bought it when I was in SA. I used it a lot before but now it sits in my garden shed. Redaing this thread makes me remember the great african evenings sitting under the stars with potjie
