Thanks Rob i didnt expect this kind response from everyone. its a rim sprocket and im hoping to nip down to a chap at hurn airport on monday who is advertising one on his web site. unless you sell them?

I understand you are also close to Wimborne, as i have been following the milling forum very closely. I originally bought the saw to fit to an alaskan mill, and am currently trying to persuade my wife that i need one. i work on a large estate just outside wimborne so have good access to to some interesting wood. but in the mean time will use the saw for fire wood on a portec saw horse.

thanks again Rich

You may find the chain a bit tight when using a 9 x 325 sprocket with a bar that was designed for a 7 x 325 - need to use a well run-in chain or fit chain around bar and rim sprocket before fitting rim to the clutch drum.:thumbup1:
