The GreenMech GMR100 is similar to the JB and would give fewer problems than the TW. You are paying for quality tho.

So what problems has the 13/75 got Pete. I think its a great little chipper. (Did I just say that) For the money their is none better and I have seen very few issues and problems. The machine is as simple as they come and very user friendly.

Pity they still don't make the TreeBusta. That was one of the best tools I ever used. The looks on peoples faces as the wood just disappeared. RIP my little wheelbarrow friend.

Last models has 15hp Kohler and TW stopped building them in about 2001. Really was the best little chipper I've ever used.

The 18/100g is the Old Trukloder. Again a gem of a chipper. Think they are about £4k these days. Thats cheaper than a GMR100 and its road towable!!!!!

As for the 13/75G. 13Hp Honda. Reliable. Discharge high enough to chip into rubble sack (same as GMR100). Never had bearing issues with them when we had them on our hire fleet and as far as I'm aware no more an issue than with any other make of chipper. Blade is a single 7" which gives the machine good performance and is very forgiving for the less experienced user. As for the feed height. Agree with you there, it is a bit high but I've fed them no probs at all. Again think they are about £2.5k these days. Thats 2 13/75 for 1 GMR100 as near as dammit.
