i tkink i know the ones you mean with the cannons on them and i think they a a toyota landcrusier 70 series

That's the one, just found them on 'toyota saudi arabia' the LC70 pickup and the FJ Cruiser is the hatchback. I alos looked on 'toyota Austrailia' they have the FJ Cruiser listed but toyota aus is on strike at the moment:sneaky2:

It seams Toyota has set models for different countries but if they are not tried here then knowbody gets a chance to try them - pity:confused1:

Have you seen the size of some of the yank pickups? They are like transits, I would imagine they are thirsty.

Like the Toyota Tundra - real monster, I have a friend who has one - useless on our bendy muddy tracks but it's the 'man-points' image he's after, how can I put it without being rude, 'for the man who opens both double garage doors to wheel his bike out':blushing:

From the response there must be a demand both in Arb and farming, for a more basic tough pickup without all the modern car frills. So if Toyota imported the LC70 and Isusu pickups with a bit more bling could supply the lets say urban users

They are about..

Classifieds - HZJ75 Pickup Forsale • Land Cruiser Club and Forum

I have just sold my FJ40 that i bought in Germany. 4.2 straight 6 petrol and would go anywhere.

There are a few clubs like the one above.

You can get most models in Germany including new 79s.

You can get them in aus second hand and get them back here pretty easy so long as its over 10 years old.

I seriously considered bringing some over and selling them on..but they are more expensive than hi luxs and landrovers (but for a reason)

Is the Iveco Masiff coming to the UK?

I believe the masiff were supposed to be made by santana, who I think went bust. I asked the Iveco dealer when we picked up our 6.5 tonner and he seemed to think the masiff was not happening.

I spoke to a guy who works daily on most Toyota derivatives who told me few years back that LR and Toyota had a Gentlemans Agreement of sorts whereby Toyota didnt export some of their other models into the uk-thats why your unlikely to see many of the 70 series or HJZs around.
