A few pictures from a a group of Turkey Oaks in Pershore except for the Honey Fungus.

 

Pictures 1 and 2 - What i beleive to be inonotus hispidus? Just looking to double check.

 

Pictures 3 and 4 - Unknown 'oozing' on Q. cerris. Any ideas of cause/ info? Looks dry so poss bacterial?

 

Pictures 5, 6 and 7 - Another 'oozing' on seperate Q. cerris

 

Pictures 8 and 9 - Armillaria sp.?

The black ooze is their wee. Generally the base of the hole would be smooth with faint sratch marks from their claws. It looks very similar to bark ooze from a fresh wound or from Honey fungus.

Ah hah! polyporus, of course i can see it now!

Yea its definatly squirrel damage its just the bleeding i dont understand just yet, the mellea is on a separate site to the oaks.

 

Any ideas of the mellea sp.?
