id of a tree

hi guys, been a while but i have been asked to id a tree by a client but im having a hard time working it out.

 

i dont have a picture as it was dark but the leaf is massive, 6 - 8 inches wide.

 

quite a dark green in colour with 4 rounded points, they are all very uniform in size and colour.

 

the bark of the tree is for want of another word, mildly rough? almost like rough beech

 

prob not enough info there but if someone knows what it may be it would be much appreciated.

 

oh and the bark is quite green and the tree isnt very old id guess maybe 10 - 15 yrs

easiest way to describe it is like an elephants foot lol, if i can find the camera i may be able to get a pic before i lop it to fence hieght :-D

Sounds like it could be a fig.
