how can you become an instructor with just cs30/31?

 

Is it possible?

 

And are there other people (instructors) out there actually TEACHING on basic quals and experience, if so thats just bloomin scary and wrong IMO!

Cs30/31 and less than 2 years experience but I suppose its how quick you pick it upor how often you do it, what about climbing and cs38/39, thats a whole other can of worms

 

I suppose that its a good counter argument:biggrin:

unfortunatly its so easy if you have a few quid and can talk the talk etc to become an instructor regardless of length of carreer, i know of one such indivivdual who became an instrctor with in 18 months of gaining his cs 30/31/38/39. no where near enough experiance but there you go.

exactly, scary!!!!

 

what i don't get is he's saying got everything apart from Utilities (so you actually need EVERYTHING:lol:, and how long would that take!!!) and in t'other thread, just cs30/31??

Personally would not even dream of going down that route untill at least 10 years in the biz , 3 years still preety much a greenhorn, old apprentiships used to be 4 years

 

 

I know a trainer/assessor who's 23 years old and has every ticket and I would say he is the youngest in the country at it.

 

I see posts all the time saying should be at it longer before considering applying to be trainers/assessors positions.

 

I also know men thats been in this trade for years and couldn't climb to bed but can talk a good job.

 

It's not length of time served it's how well you have served your time. :001_rolleyes:
