Cool cheers for the information. Any reason why you didn't crane the tree brush on?

 

Just coz there wasn't much space really, when we looked at the job it was one of the things we thought about, in the end we decided it would be easier to strip first. It was the first job I had bossed using a crane but it all went well.

Nice one mate. I did one with a 50 t crane about 3 weeks ago. Craned it out with the brash on. 4 cuts, job done!

That sound sweet, I'm looking forward to getting a crane down again, steve is an experienced climber and has done quite a few of these type jobs so he was a big help. The driver had never taken a tree down before either!! Steve found this out when he was asking to ride the hook and the driver replied " why? Is that how you usually do it? Will you be tied on or just holding on with your hands?"!!!!!!
