Interesting post, two thoughts came to mind...

1) Do the others include VAT in their ball park quotes?

2) What have you seen that the others may have missed?

My guess is Gibbon is thinking about the use of a crane.

Others have mentioned speedlining, I cant see thats an option from the pictures. the tips might come out ok, but theres not enough clearance for the wood, which will be the main problem.

Definetly requires a site visit this one.

i wish i was closer , i want to see it now just see how awkward it is or isnt !

pictures never do it justice ,although good on you for taking as many shots as you have .

its a days work for a 3 man team i reckon, but if you can move the shed ,the wall the house and fell it from the bottom and leave the rubbish on site it will be a lot cheaper

If it was topped and limbed down the left, I think it'd make a great stunt fell down the alley. are you fully insured?:lol:

I would just rig most of it then just cut lumps off at the end and chuck them off. Would be awkward work on spikes and a load of wood to carry out. 2 or 3 gardens to clear saw dust from. Late payment from park home land lord. Average 3 man day

That doesn't make sense to me, would you explain what you mean?

I've worked in park homes several times and its like any job where you work in one place and probably invoice somewhere else. You will wait a few weeks before you see any money.
