We're trialing a TW 250 tomorow and a Jensen 340Di next week. Any one any experience with either machine or would you recommend another..

the TW is 10" and 92HP the Jensen is 9" X 11 and 68HP so a bit smaller...

Any one know why TW stopped making the 250?

I have a Tw250 and am really pleased with it . Pushes the chip right to the back of the lorry and doesnt slow that much on big timber . The turntable is great for road side work or were the drives are to short to back into .

However it does drink the old juice and is pretty heavy at 2100kg

So how did you guys get on with the TW? what was it like on the smaller brash?

The 250 was good. It is a BIG machine, fine behind the Iveco, but an dog to move about by hand. We filled 4 truck loads of leyladii. It was fine on the smaller stuff. I don't think I want a machine that size if it was our only chipper but with the 190 works well. Same blades which is handy..

Got the Jensen next week and possibly a bandit to try...:001_smile:
