Ive already got a ht131 & am now looking into getting a long reach hedge cutter. Will the hedge cutting head fit onto the pole pruner ok or am i best to get a hl100 or a kombi unit with hedge cutter attachment? I would be interested to hear from any one who has done this & any problems you have had with it? Thanks

My stihl dealer advised against putting a hedger on the end of my ht101,as the reciprocating movement causes premature wear [he said]. I use a kombi unit with long reach trimmer and an extra 1 metre extension for clipping off those high whiskers.Prefer my tripod though, but you havnt always got the room to use it.Hope this helps.

if you just buy the head and use it with the pole saw you ll be able to do 5 minutes tops unless you have an elh, so buy the hl100 and then just swap the heads over for the hard to reach areas.

I have used the pole saw with a hedge cutter head for years with out any problems.

elh???
