No its a vac not a compressor

 

Why do you want/need a compressor?

 

What voltage is the one you have?

 

Why not get one of these (or similar) and connect it to the receiver

To run a multitude of air tools when things are broken and stranded in the woods. I would have thought it'll be 230v.

A 12 volt jobbie is only up to light duties, inflating a tyre now and again is about their limit, a 230/240 volt job is going to need a big inverter that will suck your battery inside out and leave you in the woods with a mended thing and a flat battery, petrol power is OK but they are a bit bigger and plenty expensive for an occasional use thing.

Was also thinking of a split charge system setup. Like on the powerline trucks.

Well that will cure your not getting home problem but you will still have some pretty miserable endurance, some air tools are pretty greedy and will empty a 20l tank in nothing flat.

 

It wont give you workshop quality air but if you have the space in the van give it a go

Yeah thought that. Have that issue with the compressor now as I am doing up a series three Landy. The size is good for my truck with all the other equipment in it. Have just seen the high output TMax Portable air compressor. TMax stuff is very good.

Ha ha, the only issue with taking on an old landy is mental health issues, if you don’t have any now you will have before you are done

It's the fourth so I now know what's going to happen and when. This one is a full rebuild on a galv chassis though. Uh oh!!
