It's a while before I'm anywhere near close for setting up with a shed etc because I'm doing a land swap at the moment.

 

It will then take me a year or so to create a secure yard which will be some 3/4 acre and then I'm going to have to put in some hard standing and the shed.

 

I'm planning on storing all my wood and chip under cover so it lasts longer and up to press I have been giving away surplus . If I have an outlet (you) I will keep all my surplus and at least get a bit of something for it.

 

I have a Hire firm opposite my house with telehandler, so if I don't have my own loader by then I will borrow theirs

Start stockpiling Dean, as long as we can get an artic in I'll buy it off you.

Up to 18 months in some cases, a wagon load is 27ton and that's not as bigger pile as you'd think.

 

As for price it depends where you are, how good it is, and which market i'd send it to.

We had about 500 ton of chip stored on a golf course , it will be well rotted down by now was a few years ago since we last stopped dumping there.

We supply a few riding centres who use it for horse paddocks,a golf course or 2 for footpaths and anyone and everyone who wants it
