in the middle of getting a ground saw now, bin looking at the 357xp and the 365xp, i used to have a 357xp with a 18''bar when i was employed and found it would tackle most bigish stuff and its not too heavy either for slaying on your ropes in the tree, but then i could get the 365xp because its that little bit bigger and is the same price!!

To reply to Ben's original -

I actually got a 365 a couple of years ago because I had (have!) limited budget. Used the saw for most of my ground work with 15" and found nowt wrong with it. Bonus is that u can go to 24" bar which I have used a few times and u could say it gets the job done.

The saw is heavy and would not recomend it for general forestry/lots of snedding etc, but I am pleased with it as an all rounder to get me going.

Used 357's a bit last year. Knock spots off the 365 in the woods but 2 of the 4 saws we were using kept cutting out.

If u want a top saw at both ends of the scale get two, if not the 365 is OK for both.

(When i move on from the 365 i will be gettin 2 stihl's :thrasher:)

I would get the 365, and work that Zubat...

Oh, and my 395's blow away any 660. not that the stihl is a bad saw, but the 395 is better. You may argue this, but you will not change the facts :D
