water proof socks

its getting wetter and colder and as such i was wondering does anyone have a pair of these

my boots still have a lot of life left in them but there are a couple of holes around the tongue that will make myy feet wet if we have snow or heavy rain as i don't want to replace them yet i was wondering if these would be a sensible thing

as i doubt a boot mender can do much for them

Yeah, I've got a couple of pairs. They do a good job but don't think they feel like ordinary socks most of the time. They're stiffer and have a distinct crunch to them (OK, like ordinary socks after a few days!)

Looks like the price has gone up though; £21 last year.

 

They do work.
