I cut the fish as thin as I could with a salmon knife, it still tasted raw to me, not raw raw, but just weird.

My fish came straight off a boat this morning, good job I saved a few for the pan, boy they were nice,I preffer mackrel and herrings to bass and cod..

Ever noticed how fresh fish does'nt smell? Get mackrels from a supermarket, or if we freeze them, they smell of fish (surprize surprize).

I love codling and Bass, we get great ones up here.

Caught my first bass last year. Codling should be about on our coast now, should stop:pcguru: and go fishing (never seems to happen!)
