so i am looking at getting a log splitter, it will be splitting arb waste only i dont have a huge budget, so cheaper the better really. would like it verticle beacuse of larger rings, i have been looking at the lawnflite that justin does but should it be petrol or electric i have power at my yard so my thort is electric would be cheaper to run and more quite but is 5.5 tons enough to split most wood?

We had a three phase sheppach 10 tonne ish we have converted it to a 11hp Honda. When 3ph was superb but now we can stall the engine. I would say get 10 tonne with 13hp honda we sometimes feel we could do with a bit more oomph.
