Some Larch shelves, Small carved oak abstract table (sorry didn't use the mill for this) , and some of my milled planks. only small stuff using an ms361 and the Small Log Mill.

Really cool stuff that Bart, especially the Oak table, how did you do it? Chainsaw carved then a load of sanding?! Nice pics mate

I've got a backing plate for my 4" grinder that accepts sanding discs, with a 36 grit on there it's amazing how much you can remove!

 

Really handy for all the tighter work to, made a good job on the mantlepiece I did a few months back, is that what you use for the Oak table, if not, best fiver you'll spend!

Yes angle grinder type sanders are the way for rapid removal of material.

 

Great original table.... you going to try and sell it?

 

I've just ordered a dewalt angle grinder that will take the 4.5" velcro discs that has a speed control. Those fibre discs are fine on full speed angle grinders but they burn the grain as you go to 120 grit above.

Yep Luke after carving I used an angle grinder, then finished off by hand, Sanding pieces seems to be the longest process but worth it.

Rob I sell a few milled and carved pieces, but at the moment I’m trying to replace all the naff furniture I’ve got. I took inspiration from your wall hangings and placed this oak offcut on the wall
