Hi All (forum newbie)

Can anyone elaborate on how their Scafell boots are doing? I was all for buying a pair but some of the opinions here have really put me off.

Are they really built to fall apart as mentioned and if so, how are Arbortec on their returns/repair, good or bad experiences?

I planned on getting the smooth brown leather version rather than the neon green as they would be easier to clean and look after, quick wipe and a wax/polish etc.

Can anyone restore a little faith for me? The previous reviews are very mixed.

Also, does anyone know where these are made? They look *very* similar to a few of the older Raichle boot models and also some of the La Sportiva boots, was wondering if Arbortec have them made for them by another company or something.

Thanks in advance

After 7 months (half way through the 'no fear gaurentee' mine have splits in the sides from being on spikes on both boots, exposing the Chainsaw protection, and letting water in, ankle supports falling apart, splits in the leather near the laces ahain letting water in. . . i have recieved a returns number and adress to return to the manufacture for inspection. the dealer i brought them from has been fantastic with contacting arbortech on my behalf, and contacting myself
