Our rightwing elements have been screaming to reduce health care standards, public education, environmental science and Constitutional freedoms while the total bail out (unaccountable welfare) this morning is at 1.8 trillion dollars, given to those who always maintained that everyone else has to "suck-up to their own responsibilities".

Trouble is, I think we have so many problems in this country, to worry too much about those abroad, Imo we've been too involved in the American politics for far too long. We have to sort our own house first.

Agreed. Our link with the American banking system has not paid dividends of late. Time to try and compact and restructure our economy.
