The Urban Search and Rescue Teams use them, they have a diamond tipped chain, will cut wood and some small gage mettle. Good for gaining access into roofs for venting.

One of these i think. Our local fire station have 2 on each appliance incase they come across a fallen tree or have to gain access quickly to a burning property.

My mate who works for an East Dorset based fire station has never once seen a chainsaw on board her wagon. When I asked her if she or anyone else had used one, she was completely clueless. I always assumed that there would be one on board most wagons. Obviously not hers.
