Is it just me or is anyone else finding the all new easy to use, half the size for the same money Yellowpages far less successful than previous years? Usually with my freelance climbing and Yellowpages advertising I get enough work to fill my weeks. This year I've had next to no jobs from Yellowpages. In the 6 months the books been out dont think I've made the£1000 I spent

we've got a tiny advert in the book now, yell are moving to a online business in the next few years. If i was you i would use yell.com or google adwords depending on where you are based.

personally i wold not bother with any of the "books" , i spent an average of £1200 per year on the books and possibly gained 3-4 jobs from them last year . im not going to spend my advertising budget on other forms of advertising and will not be bothering with the books again !!

I have got a few good jobs from YP this year, one a school and a lady rang tonight for a price from YP. works ok for me.

 

 

It did help that the sales person was a blonde fittie:blushing:

I found YP to be a total waste of time. I'm listed on Yell.com (but don't pay for it) and find every enquiry from there is entirely price conscious and therefore wasting my time. I always politely decline from visiting them, unless I'll be driving past their door.
