Best of luck Marc and fair play for offering yourself for experience. We are a bit far away probably as we are south Birmingham. Hope you find something.

Have you tried turning up on site at a local contractors to offer your services face to face? If you look fit and enthusiastic I can't imagine you being turned away!

As David said, have you any qualifications? probably people thought you dont have any and thats why nobody took your offer. They cant take you on even free of charge if you dont have any CS units relevant to the work, so thats probably why you didnt get any interest. If its a mocking you want then thats no bother to many on here:laugh1: I could even dish out a second hand slagging if you needed:001_tt2:

Fair play to you mate, you're keen, but I think these 'willing to work for free' offers aren't a good idea. They devalue yourself, and the industry in general.

Better to say 'I'll do a couple of days and you pay what you think I'm worth'.

Qualifications are NOT the starting point in this industry. You need to know you are going to enjoy it to some degree before spending a few grand on tickets!

Good luck!
