More stolen saws

In this instance the kit was in a tool locker built into the truck body. Apart from carrying all your kit onto the work site what can you do? I suppose there has to be an acceptance of 'if they want it they'll get it'. A big downer when they do!

We don't have lockers on the trucks But do have an open tool area directly behind the cab. It's like not having a lock for the bicycle... So you have to take it in wherever you are.

Again my point exactly. Did you have the saw secured in the back of your truck?, was it in plain sight??, with hundreds of post on this sight when will members learn that you can not leave any thing out in plain sight unsecured at any time PERIOD!. Thiefs are counting on you to be non complacent and un aware of your surroundings, remember they are in business stealing your kit and your business is to protect your kit at all times how else can you earn a living and put food on your table and afford new replacement kit???. The best way I've found to keep all my gear safe is have our rottweiler come to most jobs with us. He took a bit of training but he's already put off one of the fine people who try to have the saws away. Some customers don't like the idea of him being there, but I check this over at time of inspection. Loves riding in he's section of the truck with the saws below he's bed, he's first in and last out. Works for me.

HI jonathan thats the way to do it mate we have 2 dogs in land rover they let me no that work for me all best and keep kit safe or lose it jon

Yes my saw is secured when not in my hands, It takes more time and is not really convenient and I know there are people watching me to learn my movements and actions.

I do not give my enemy any additional ammo to work with against me or my company.
