Thats a baby! i dont have any pics but there is a couple in Sardegna i have seen that are at least two or three times the size of that if not more.

What species? I cut down a grandiflora over twice that size a couple of months ago. Tree was about 80 to 100 years old. Does that count?

It must be because of all the fertilizer its got around it

If you hadn't told me it was a Magnolia I'd have thought it was a lemon tree from that picture. Looks just like mine as develops the new fruit

Still there as far as I know in The Domain in Auckland N.Z near the museum. Did climb it but very awkward due to narrow branch profile.
