good for kindling shame its a bit far i would come down and take a load.

One of our apprentices is having a stacked trailer and truck load of it for his massive (73cm wide hearth) Villager woodburner. He would cut it in the "hanger" with me stacking in the trailer. He said he wants as much as he can get from now until he finishes so the boss has said not a problem. He will burn anything in it from fresh tanalised offcuts, sleeper ends, telegraph pole off cuts, kitchen work top off cuts, etc, etc. He doesn't worry about the resulting chimney fire as the chimney has been lined with fire proof engineering bricks so when it roars into life he just stokes the fire more and more to get the tar burning out of it.:thumbup:

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
