Good for you. For me it was a way of life and the best bit was working with like minded people and everyday being different. The real challenge was not letting the destruction and abuse the sites took overshadow the good bits.

 

I stopped two yobos on scramble bikes earlier on a stretch of trailway i walk my dogs along. What they didnt realise is i had already had called a friend who was working on the freelander and met me and the lad on bikes. Needless to say they weren';t happy as i made it sound like i wasnt actually speaking to someone.:lol:

Cheers.The first gate took a while to do as we hadnt done one before and the rights of way ranger told us to just bolt it together n put it in the ground which we did. Second one we bolted it together so it was all as one to see if it was any quicker. It was but it required more fettling of the holes as they had to be bob on.

saw the first bumble of the season today and first jasper on Tuesday. plus skylarks singing on hill i was working on nice to hear them. downside found a injured buzzard been hit by car took to vet but sadly unable to save it shame nice birds still saved it being pecked by rooks.
