Todays rewarding job was to clear a bridleway which hasnt been touched for 5 years. It was a about a 2 mile walk to get to the site but luckily we could put most of the gear in the tractor bucket which saved alot of sore and aching arms. We made it wide enough for two tractor widths all the way along. There is still 50 metres to do but it is 9 ft bramble and old mans beard.

Found this lil Gano bracket which was described as "sterile" by the local TO last time it was checked. I took pictures another 6 months after it was surveyed and it has doubled in size. You can still see the slice i took out of the bracket just above it. It has started to form pores so will be watching this tree as it has Inonotus dryadeus at work in the base as well. The trees are in line for some some deadwooding and crown cleaning/thinning as they havent been touched for about 10 years according to the district TO.

This is said tree on google maps
