Not strictly tree related but countryside related

We have an SLA (Service Level Agreement) with a few local parishes to maintain their RoW. We did our rounds of mowing in a village called Child Okeford. As our main mower was in for repair (diff lock failure and new drive belt) we had to do it all by strimming. Had some fun along the way and got a nice picture of the Friday team. In the last pic from left to right (Me, Liam [work exp] Sam [FJF], Luke [stepping Stones scheme and PTSD sufferer).

One of our more obscure sites. No public access at all. It is a buffer between a housing and industrial estate. We knock it down every year. Sadly its a hotbed for garden flytip. We have had a massive amount of flytip (head height) dumped over the chainlink. It is very obvious where is came from as there is a large garden that has been recently landscaped. (3 weeks or so)

Go to their door and say that you noticed their garden rubbish tipped over the fence, then say that you have to report fly tipping to the police and its obvious that it came from your garden so i can give you a week to get it cleared and then i have to report it. If it is gone by that time then there wont be a problem. Either that or drag them out the house and blow their brains out with a shotgun on the street and say "hah you wont do that again will you!"

In a few weeks we are going down there with a tracked shredder and will be chipping the lot in a massive heap at the back of the property. going to start at 8.30 and finish at 5.30

so they're using you as there unpaid waste disposal teamPresumably you couldn't prosecute as there is insufficient proof

we get it round here though it's often more like 200 strong lager cans and a few other unsavoury items.

Pretty much ye. There is a household waste station about 1/2 mile away from the house but we think it may have been the landscapers doing it as the bushes still have root balls attached. Hence why we are hiring a shredder rather than a chipper. There is all of the off cuts thrown over and the old decking complete with bolts and screws over the fence too. I'm thinking they were using a mini digger with a grab to launch the stuff over as some of the stuff was massive.
