Hi all

The darn bonnet on my mk6 transit won't open, it's been rubbish for ages and now the key just turns and nothing,

Any ideas on how to get it open other than disc cutting it.

Cheers

Managed to get it open, I have removed the whole mechanism and replaced it with a bungee strap, works well so far,

Now to fix the massive oil leak

Before u drill lock try ur spare key or get a new 1 cut as your normal key has probably worn down, if you do have to drill lock u will have a different key for bonnet.

Yep it was only working with the spare, so swapped main for spare and now thats stopped,

going to get a new mechanism when I find someone breaking a transit I know it will be a different key but I can live with that.
