All the graphics are done but we have struggled with timing for the sign writing, when he was able to do it it was raining and the shed was full. Now the sheds free he is too busy!

Hi All,

After a bit of advice!

The head gasket went on my van a couple of months back, I got a local travelling mechanic to do the work and it cost me around £650 all in.

Driving out of my local village today with a log store ive built for a client on the back and clatter bang the engine stopped.

Walked home to get the hilux and towed it to my mates yard.

Mechanic dropped by looked in the oil cap and said it looks like the timing chain cog has parted company from the cam shaft.

Its my busiest week yet this week, over 10 loads going out and two custom made log stores to deliver. I am back to filling my £100 rascal van by hand...

So question is how to play this with the mechanic? He is there this evening stripping the head down which is good of him, but is this his responsibilty or mine?
