We used to run saws till they were absolutely knackered but really found it was not way to go for us.

If a saw has not earned it,s money in 3 yrs then time to sell em

personally I think I would rather have the new saws that don,t let you down are better for production and your hands ect and realistically I now believe you can have a new saw and run it for 3 yrs then sell on ebay or such and you will probably have lost poss £300 and earned plenty where as pay £2-300 on a second hand one and chances are it will be a pain the but

 

I have built many a saw back together from a box of bits and replaced crank seals ect so do know how to do them honest:thumbup:
