Hi guys one of our teams was working down Leighton Buzzard way today , as they only needed one climbing and one ground saw they thought theyd leave the others in the van .Theyd parked on a track near the railway where they were working next to a busy road , they decided to put the saws on the rear seats of the ranger under some coats instead of leaving them on display in the back . They came back at dinner to find someone had smashed the rear passenger window and had the saws away. If anyone gets offered them let me know and ill sort a reward out - little hope i know. What has really pissed me off though is the insurance excess which we thought was £500 is in fact £750 as we havent got a tracker fitted to the vehicle ? Whats that all that about. The claims man even had the cheek to ask if it was really worth claiming for!!!! I did ask him in which case was it really worth us paying insurance for

Should of read my thread on means and methods of protecting you kit from theft. Completly preventable. Never leave anything for someone to steal. There are always people looking for an easy mark. Although it is a shame that your kit was stolen, out of hundreds of post of stolen kit I researched for my thread your post is not only not unique but very common. Read my thread and take the information to heart.

Reading all the threads on here about gear being stolen it only leaves me to believe the UK has gotten worse since I left. That accounts for both the theiving little scrotes and the insurance companies, or are they one and the same? Sometimes we don't realize how good we have it over here. Hope your mate gets something sorted.
