Poorly monkey puzzle

Recommended Posts

Has roughly 30% dieback mainly in the lower branches. It has also been block paved in completely sometime in last 5 yrs. Also has large amounts of sap coming from every previous pruning wound. Bark lesions raised looking similar to a canker exuding lots of resin any suggestions welcome. Customer does not want to lift paving/drive up. Also would the wood be any good to mill? looks like extensive soil compaction, maybe some minor borer damage to trunk. These trees are really tough other than a lighting strike or serious damage to root system could kill one of these bad boys off. I have one growing next door tomy home and the Bald eagles and Great Horned Owls love the height.
