a few bits from today, most importantly, I went back to visit some brackets that I thought maybe G. peifferis, with one of them showing flat foot fly galls. Gerrit youll remember this well!

 

they now appear to be all applanatums and also panic fruiting from the stump which is now well degraded with lycoperdon pyriformes. I am now of the opinion we must NEVER take for granted which gano we are presented with.
