Just bought an International 674 with Bamlett rear loader. Starts, runs and drives, Hydraulics work, everything else is pretty much finished. £500. have I done OK or have I paid over the odds? Anyone got any experience of these tractors, anything to look out for on them? Cheers.

its all down to the mechanicals, if the bits you need all work then its a good one. the old fordson major here is 60+ yrs and drags logs out of the swamp all day long. its not broke till it doesn't go anymore:thumbup:

Liking the tractor handbrake! been thinking of buying an old foden with a crane on, is it worth having one? what use do you put to?

it gets used mostly by nesting birds during spring/summer, occasionally the birds let us use it for shifting machinery and timber, its surprising where they will put a nest, last year there was one on top of the rad so we have to check carefully for them. i'd say anything with a working crane is worth it, and pretty cool too:thumbup:
