Thanks to Griff for the offer Not being in the arb business it's sometimes frustrating trying to get hold of big diameter trunks.

Dave, yes I agree it does an element of retro chic. and lastly David you're not wrong, it's pretty weighty. Designed as an indoor/outdoor seat, you wouldn't want to be shifting it about too much.

I'm still finding my way around this site, but will take the time soon to have a good look at the whole site and will happily add my money's worth as far as sculpting tips/ advice on other threads.

I have loads of large diameter logs different species. You can google SO416DG and see how long it would take you to get down here.

The chair's not my first piece, been at it some years now lol. Thinking back my first piece was pretty poor.
