Spidy rolls his eyes, holds up his hand and says...........

Didn't you warn Spidy, that he might be in danger of falling on the ground together with the old annual bracket of Grand Master Pipto, because of the extra weight he put on it :laugh1: ?

Frans Tjallingii sounds like a good teacher

Yes he was, just as his wife Dien, who was an expert on Pholiota and inspired me to "photo collect" and document all species, she described in her book. Frans taught me never to look for the obvious, but always to expect the exception with fungi.

Your friendly neighbood Spidy wasn't about to wait around to see what the Evil Doctor Fung had install for him with his 'of so innocent looking Coprinus disseminatus (fairy ink caps)

As he said to him self "just one chance to make this work" he clambered on upward out of the range of the ever so slowly emitting poisonous cloud of evil fung spore

.

Fungi at the base of a house, hmmm, fell it!

That is a very important statement, one I too have come to appreciate:thumbup1:

the Monkey pondered; what on earth could have created this mega Meripilus

There are two very nice and friendly Fung ladies living in my garden, asking Spidy's and Monkey's permission to join the just for fun - Fung party under their guidance and protection.
