I know this is a very general question but what sort of money is a seconhand ms880 with 2x36" bars and chains worth? it's a 2009 model, with what looks like little use, any ideas?

we needed one early last year and TBH they were fetching supid money.

contacted justin on here and he did us a new one for not much more.

At least you then know it hasn't been abused

Although it may look little used, clutch and brake cleaning spray works wonders!

More seriously, you don't know how diligent the operator was with cleaning off the air filter and keeping debris out of the fuel.

Be very careful as usually buying second hand actaually means buying someone elses rubbish.

If you decide to buy it I would advise a pressure test by a Stihl service centre or just cut a BIG piece of wood with it.
