Not good local school kids are for ever doing this in the woods my girlfriend manages. One year a ranger chased a kid who had a chainsaw with a chain so slack he could of had a serious accident, or they set fires at the base just Eco vandalism on a small scale

Ive done a few trees were arsehole school kids have hacked at the bottom with axes and knives in strips of woodland arounds local parks.

Todays tree-thugs, tomorrow's tree surgeons. Not really that funny or amusing, but I wonder how many of us started out as kids climbing up trees, or using a knackered bow saw to take down a tree, or were we all little angels?

Climbing up trees? Yes. Cutting them down for laughs? Not really. There seems to be a certain pack mentality when they are in groups of 3 or more. Answer to the problem.... don't let them hang around in packs of 3 or more unless they are all chained together. They'll not be able to get away then. Well not unless they develop some serious team-work skills.
