tip sites in durham / newcastle areas

hello , can anybody point me to some tip sites in the newcastle / durham areas

 

most waste is chipped and logs , occassional brash too ( like this weekend when my chipper didnt want to play ball at all )

 

i know of a place in newburn , sandhills i think charging £30+vat per tonnage

 

 

i load of advice would be great , i do keep alot of wood for my burner but you can only keep so much

There's a reclycling place near Chopwell called Something Farm. It begins with a 'B' can't remember what It's called. I think it might be Broomfield Farm, It's along the road from Garesfield Golf Club. They'll take brash. Just watch out for the mental collies chasing your tyres when you get there...

yeah , me dad works for the council and just told me about that place today , guna go check it oot man , looks promising. cheers
