Who do you get the appointed person ticket through and do they include the crane supervisors ticket?

I looked into it a few years ago but thought better of it. It looked too costly at the time.

We may only use a crane 5 days in a year.

Sparrow do courses but for the single person it's an expensive option, they advise to join a group when they are running courses to save money, I don't have a banksman ticket I just do the climbing but we normally have three people on site with the qualifications. It means little though when like myself this week the operator had never done a tree job before.

zipline?

Maybe they could back the truck up close to a chipper and fire the chips into the back!!??

The thread was about a crane job, give them some credit that they have actually thought through the options!!

Alright rupe - it appeared that the chap hadnt had that many guys stick there hands up that were interested in actually helping with the task.

while the best option for whatever consideration may well be a crane - if he couldnt find someone to help then what next and why?

I like to learn from other people and Just being nosey!
